Virgin Sun Grown
That's right. I laid down $11.40 + tax to get a double corona Ashton VSG cigar from the Briar Shoppe in the Village. The other two VSG's I've had really delivered.
Well, relatively.
It's a well-known cigar law that any money you spend over $6.00 sees diminishing returns. Which is to say a $4 cigar isn't very good, a $6 cigar is almost always very good, and a $10 cigar is almost always better than the $6 one, but not enough of an improvement to justify paying extra for it.
Oh well, when you're rich like I am, you can afford to spend a little bit extra for luxury items.
Ashton VSGs and Nat Sherman Metropolitans are probably the only two cigars that I would consider worth the extra money. There's nothing like taking a delightful selection home from the 5th Avenue Nat Sherman storefront in Manhattan.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a few more things I need to do before burning away my hard-earned $12 up in smoke...
